Deep Green Ukraine - is an independent system that allows to automatically analyze open data of satellite images and government agencies (land cadastre, forest maps, logging tickets, etc.) to detect illegal logging and monitor planned ones.
This project has created an updated cartography of the main forest species in La Rioja, collecting data such as the volume of wood, tree heights and vegetation structure for every 25x25m of land, with a very high level of resolution.
Mounted at the towing hitch, sensor values are collected and the road quality of unpaved, single lane roads gets assesd. Ultrasonic sensors (cross section scan of a road segment) acceleration sensors to assess the longitudinal roughness and a GPS sensor for locatiion.
