Skogfond został wprowadzony w 1932 r., aby zapewnić finansowanie ponownego zalesiania po wyrębie. W późniejszym okresie do programu dodano także inne działania w obszarze gospodarki leśnej i skorygowano wielkość obowiązkowej wpłaty. Obecnie to właściciel lasu decyduje, jaką część przychodu przeznacza na fundusz leśny, w zakresie od 4% do 40% przychodów ze sprzedaży drewna. Wpłacane środki są zwolnione z podatku, jednakże 15% środków wykorzystanych z funduszu podlega opodatkowaniu.

Fundusz leśny przypisany jest do danego gospodarstwa leśnego i powinien być wydatkowany na prowadzenie gospodarki leśnej, budowę dróg leśnych, inwentaryzację lasów, produkcję choinek, szkolenia dla właścicieli lasów lub pracowników leśnych, realizację działań w zakresie ochrony środowiska oraz tworzenie i rozbudowę instalacji energetycznych zasilanych biomasą. Odsetki od środków zgromadzonych na funduszu nie są przekazywane właścicielom, a wykorzystywane na potrzeby zarządzania funduszem i realizację działań na rzecz społeczności związanej z lasem, takich jak upowszechnianie informacji wśród właścicieli lasów i w placówkach edukacyjnych, realizację projektów rozwojowych etc. Rząd Norwegii postrzega Skogfond jako jedno z najważniejszych narzędzi polityki leśnej tego kraju.

Der Hackathon ist eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, mit verschiedenen Menschen zusammenzukommen und gemeinsam an spannenden Ideen zu arbeiten. Mit der Unterstützung von Mentoren und Experten wird innerhalb kürzester Zeit (z. B. 24 Stunden) in einem Team ein Prototyp, Code, Konzept oder ein Geschäftsmodell für eine innovative Lösung entwickelt. Oft bleiben die Hackathon-Teams über Nacht vor Ort, arbeiten durch oder schlafen nur hier und da nur ein paar Stunden. Dies ist Teil des Konzepts und deshalb gibt es beim Hackathon oft Ruheräume mit Schlafmöglichkeiten. Am Ende der Veranstaltung erhält jedes Team die Möglichkeit, seine Idee einer Jury vorzustellen, die dann ein Siegerteam auswählt.

Пізніше в схему було додано інші лісогосподарські заходи, а також скориговано частку доходів, що підлягає внесенню. Тепер лісовласник сам вирішує, скільки відкладати в межах 4-40% доходів від продажу. Гроші не обкладаються податком, коли вони відкладаються, але 15% коштів, які використовуються з фонду, оподатковуються.

Лісовий фонд належить лісовому господарству і повинен використовуватися для ведення лісового господарства, облаштування лісових доріг, інвентаризації лісів, виробництва різдвяних ялинок, проведення курсів для лісовласників або працівників, здійснення природоохоронних заходів, а також для створення і розширення біоенергетичних установок. Власнику лісу не нараховуються відсотки за внесок в лісовий фонд. Ці кошти використовуються для управління самою схемою і впровадження заходів, які принесуть користь усій лісовій спільноті, наприклад, поширення інформації серед лісовласників і навчальних закладів, реалізація проєктів розвитку тощо. Уряд вважає цю схему одним з найважливіших заходів у лісовому господарстві.

A hackathon is a unique opportunity to get together with different people and work on exciting ideas together. Supported by mentors and experts, a prototype, code, concept or a business model for an innovative solution is developed within a very short time (e.g.: 24h) in a team. It is not uncommon for hackathon teams to stay on site overnight, working through the night and only sleeping a few hours here and there. This is part of the concept and so there are often rest rooms with sleeping facilities at the hackathon. At the end of the event, each team gets the chance to pitch their idea to a jury, which then selects the winning team.

Secure Chain's objective was to promote a Sustainable Supply Chain Management practice that meets high environmental, quality and financial viability standards, tailored for local biomass suppliers, energy producers and the financial sector. In the process, the entire bioenergy chain was considered, and sustainability and financing were an integral part of the set-up. The specific objectives comprised, a) integration and optimization of local supply chains, b) high efficiency and low impact gain, c) supply sustainability, d) leveraging investments in bioenergy, and, e) implementation of future-proof bioenergy chains. SecureChain relied heavily on tested digital practices deminstrating organisational setups for information flows, biomass mobilisation and logistics, especially for a) the optimization of collaborative networks and joint implementation plans of local supply chains, and b) the application of risk assessment tools for the analysis of supply chains’ market opportunities, financing schemes and investor requirements.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 646457 for the period from 01.04.2015 to 31.07.2018.

The scheme started in 1932 to ensure finances for rejuvenation after harvesting forests. Later, several forest measures have been added to the scheme, and the share of income to be disposed of has been adjusted. Now, the forest owner decides for him-/herself how much to set aside, within 4-40% of the sales revenue. The money is not taxed when it is set aside, but 15% of the money used from the fund is taxed. The forestry fund belongs to the forest property and should be used for silviculture, forest roads, forest inventory, production of Christmas trees, courses for the forest owner or employees, environmental measures, and the establishment and expansion of bioenergy plants. The forest owner is not given interest on the contribution to the forestry fund. This money is used to manage the scheme, and measures that will benefit the forestry community, e.g. information to forest owners and schools, development projects etc. The Government considers the scheme to be one of the most important measures in the forestry.
