Recent land use changes have led to the abandonment of rural forest areas in Spain. The Rustic Property Management Platform helps manage plots, connect owners, and facilitate transactions, offering tools for inventory, profitability, and fire risk analysis.

The PRI.FOR.MAN project developed a Decision Support System for shared forest management, using national forest inventory and LiDAR data to map resources.

In the context of the GO-SURF project, an algorithm has been developed to link the forest road network, slope data, and distance from the roads to create maps assessing the accessibility of each forest parcel.

SYLV'ÉCLAIR and its database, developed as part of the OG SPNA project, are designed to collect data from stands composed mainly of maritime pines and to provide tailored advice for these stands.

A geodatabase was created and to centralise forest data that can be queried for different administrative levels, enabling also data sharing between stakeholders.

The OG PRI.FOR.MAN has developed different forest geographic layers that describe forest resources (growing stock volume, forest types, accessibility, and forest roads maps) implemented in a decision support system tool, providing support to the forest sector and emergence of new value chains.
