The granting of subsidies to finance projects for the creation of new technological and scientific capacities linked to endogenous resources, or to the development of new materials of industrial interest through support for technology centres in the Community of Castille and Leon. Endogenous resources: Resources linked to the territory that could be classified as forestry, mineral, agricultural, livestock, industrial, heritage, tourist or professional qualification resources.
Industrial research: planned research or critical studies aimed at acquiring new knowledge and skills which could be useful for developing new products, processes or services, or considerably improve existing ones; it comprises the creation of components of complex systems and may include the construction of prototypes in a laboratory environment or in an environment with simulated interfaces with existing systems, as well as pilot lines, when necessary for industrial research and, in particular, for the validation of generic technology.
Feasibility study: The evaluation or analysis of the potential of a project, with the objective of supporting the decision-making process in an objective and rational manner by discovering its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, as well as determining the resources needed to carry it out, and ultimately, its prospects for success.
