The tool has been established in order to facilitate investments aiming the internationalization of Tuscan micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MPMIs) in countries outside the European Union. The aids for the realization of investment projects is granted in the form of grants, or as a voucher limited to the expenses incurred with national suppliers. They are non-repayable and are granted for each type of services acquired in relation to the size of the company

The call for proposals aims at offering subsidies in the form of capital contributions and normally provided in the form of vouchers, for the realization of innovative investments linked to the following horizontal technological priorities indicated by the Smart Specialization in Tuscany and divided into: ICT and Photonics , Intelligent Factory, Chemistry and Nanotechnology.

The aim of the instrument is to sustain and foster the investments in Tuscany on machineries, impiants and intangible goods in line with the Strategy fo Research and innovation for the intelligent specialisation in Tuscany (RIS3). The call for proposal aims at supporting and fostering the investments of SMEs in Tuscany, through the concession of free interest loans. The call for proposal aims to support the creation and the consolidation of enterprises to go beyond the start-up phase, the difficulties that enterprises meet to access to other technological development, to transfer knowledge and acquire high qualified personnel.  These are the common level of criticity to al the new enterprises in the initial and conoslidation phase, especially if we talk about enterprises with innovative character.
